Aim Of The Tour

• Let the children see and experience the cultural diversity of South Africa
• Look at the effects of Apartheid and the steps taken to move forward democratically.
• See, experience and assess economic growth of the main business hub of South Africa.
• Enjoy and have fun as they interact with each other outside the classroom.

Day 1: Arrival

On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, you will be met by the guide. Drive to your hotel for checking in atfor the remainder of the day. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.Gallagher Hotel/Holiday Inn Express Woodmead/ Morningstar Express (Pretoria) or Similar-Meal Plan HB.

Day 2: Pretoria city tour, Kenyan embassy visit and afternoon shopping

After breakfast you will embark on City tour of Pretoria. Pretoria, the Administrative Capital of South Africa. An exploration of imposing museums and monuments dedicated to tracing South Africa’s extraordinary history. Pretoria is also known as the ‘Jacaranda City”, for its beautiful purple lined streets when the jacaranda trees are in full bloom. Places to be visited will be your High Commission, the church square, Kruger Museum and the Union Building. Spend the rest of the afternoon shopping at The Menlyn Park Mall in Pretoria.

 

Day 3: Soweto tour /2010 World cup Stadium and Sandton visit

Today after breakfast, we depart to visit have the trip to Soweto where we learn a bit more about the South African History. Visit the Hector Peterson Museum – discovering the cause of riots, the Mandela House, and last visit the Regina Mondi Church, site of many underground meetings for the banned political parties then we depart to view the 2010 World Cup Stadium in Johannesburg. Will have lunch at one of the restaurants in Soweto. If time allows, pass via Sandton City or another Mall for more shopping. Dinner and  Overnight at Gallagher Hotel/Holiday Inn Express Woodmead/Morningstar Express (Pretoria) or Similar- Meal plan FB.

Day 4: Lesedi Cultural Centre &Shopping

After breakfast, visit the Lesedi Cultural Centre to experience the diverse cultures of South Africa through song and dance. Learn about the different cultures through a guided tour of the villages. Crown the visit with an interactive lunch at the restaurant. Afternoon visit one of the malls for more shopping before retiring at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: -Learning about the South African history at the apartheid museum & gold reef city

Today after breakfast we visit the Apartheid Museum for a close and personal journey as you experience and walk through a journey of South Africa’s apartheid era to its current day. Later visit the Gold Reef City Resort, a reconstruction of Johannesburg during the Gold Rush Era, and is designed to replicate an era of the Gold Rush Experience and is also home to a Victorian fun fare. Later head for the Theme Park where lots of fun awaits you. The Theme Park has over 100 rides that will excite and thrill everyone despite of age. Day 6-Full day sun city

An early start this morning at about 0730hrs we depart for Sun City. It is internationally renowned as Africa’s premier holiday resort. Sun City offers a myriad of different entertainment and relaxation opportunities, as well as enough attractions and activities to keep everyone busy.
The Sun City resort has amazed the international community with its glamorous casinos, gourmet restaurants, extensive sports facilities and star studded spectaculars. The full variety of entertainment on offer ranges from slots to safaris; the theatre extravaganza to a games arcade for children; horse riding to golf; the Valley of Waves to The Lost City … whatever it is you’re looking for, you’ll find it at Sun City. Entrance fees to the resort have been included. Also included is access to the valley of waves and lunch. All other activities are at your own account. 1700hrs, depart Sun City for Johanesburg. Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and depart for the airport for the flight back to Nairobi.
