Met upon arrival early in the morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Assistance and drive to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge\/Similar. Afternoon game drive.  A game drive through Amboseli takes you across this vast lakebed \u2011 often dry, but still very swampy in some areas. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant \u2011 you'll often find many of them standing knee\u2011deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool.  But there's a lot of other game here too \u2011 cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game \u2011 and it's all set against the amazing backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro showing all its glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast depart with a game drive enroute and picnic lunches for the Aberdares arriving at Outspan Hotel\/Similar. Transfer in the lodge\u2019s vehicles to Treetops Lodge\/Similar, a unique tree lodge tucked away in the Aberdares Rain forest. Elephant and other game, including the endangered black rhino and the rare bongo, frequent the lodge's flood-lit water\u2011hole and salt lick. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/u><\/em><\/strong> Only a small overnight bag is required at THE ARK. The rest of the luggage is stored at Aberdare Country Club at no cost. Warm clothing is advisable as nights tend to be chilly.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After breakfast at The Ark, you will be transfer back to Aberdare Country Clubl. Retrieve your stored luggage and rejoin your driver guides. Depart and drive to Nyahururu falls for a photo-stop. Still known to many as Thomson's Falls, its waters fall 237\u2011feet making it the country\u2019s highest. Continue on south-westerly direction into the Great Rift Valley and check in to your lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch in the lodge then there will be time to settle in. In the afternoon explore Lake Nakuru National Park on your game viewing drive. The park, coloured by a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores, is a popular place with visitors as well as locals. Waterbuck are usually sighted along the lake shore, and this is the home of the Rothschild\u2019s giraffe. Baboon, impala, buffalo, monkeys, warthog, impala, reedbuck and eland are also resident here. However, the main attractions are the rhinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full buffet breakfast in the lodge. Depart and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve and check in to Mara Sopa Lodge\/Similar. After settling in, set out for an afternoon game viewing drive in the reserve. Masai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya,  this 650 sq kilometer reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere. During the seasonal migrations, Masai Mara is home to up to a million wildebeest and an equally impressive number of zebras that move into the area from neighboring Serengeti National Park, in Tanzania. The reserve is home to all the \u201cbig five\u201d and it is also possible to observe; baboon, eland, ostrich, bat-eared fox, jackal and cheetah. The rivers abound with hippos and crocodiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
